Shipping & Delivery

In case the User wants any other person to receive the delivery on his behalf he / she needs to specify details of the same at the point of ordering (recipient). All items shall be delivered directly to such person and under any circumstances whatsoever, the User cannot change the recipient details after the order is processed.

At the time of placing the order, the User shall state the full name of the recipient as stated in the recipients’ government approved photo identification. At the point of delivery, the recipient shall be entitled to collect the product, only upon furnishing any one of the following government approved photo identification card:

  • Ration Card ( should be issued in the name of the User / recipient );
  • Drivers License;
  • Permanent Account Number (PAN) card;
  • Voters Identification card; or
  • Passport.

 

Delivery shall be made by the Company / courier agent only after the photo and name of the recipient is verified and confirmed by them with the proof of photo identification submitted. To ensure safe and secure delivery of the package the details of the government photo identification will be noted. The recipient shall provide the required and valid copies of his / her government approved photo identification to the company/ Courier agent/ Delivery boy.
The User has the option to change the shipping address, before the product is actually shipped. In the event the User wishes to change the shipping address, he / she has to log-in to his / her user account on the website and click on the "Change Shipping Address" button next to the shipping address and change the address. This "Change Shipping Address" icon will be active only till the order status changes to "Shipped". Once the order status changes "To Shipped" the "Change Shipping Address", link becomes inactive.

All shipping charges and other local charges shall be borne by the Company. Recipient accepting delivery should carefully examine the package delivered and shall not accept deliveries where the packaging has been tampered with. The recipient receiving the delivery also has the option to open the package and check its contents prior to accepting the delivery or signing the delivery receipt. They shall not accept deliveries, where they find that the box is empty or the contents are damaged or the contents are not in accordance to the order placed.

The recipient, upon signing the delivery receipt, acknowledges the receipt of the product in terms of the order placed with the Company. The Company is not liable to the Customer / recipient for any refund / replacement, under any circumstance, for any subsequent complaints with respect to such deliveries.

If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the Company / courier agent shall try and deliver the item thrice before returning the same to DisenoJewels.com. All costs for re-shipment and handling in the case of non-delivery to the User shall be chargeable to the User.

Guarantee for delivery made by the Company is subject to terms and conditions of the courier company. Any inconsistency / errors in name or address will result in non delivery of the product.

 

Return, Exchange, Repairs & Resizing Policy

If for some reasons, you want to return or exchange your product bought from the company, such return or exchange is subject to the following terms and conditions. Products shipped outside India shall not be returned, exchanged, repaired or resized under any circumstances. All returns, exchanges, repairs and repairs and resizing shall be at the sole discretion of the company alone.

 

Exchange Policy

  1. Return the product, except gold coin, to the company within 30 days from the date of delivery of the product, under the 30 days exchange policy and buy any new product of your choice.
  2. The amount of the product being exchanged should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- in case of Jewelry and Rs.5,00,000/- in case of Solitaires.
  3. Silver Jewelry products cannot be exchanged.
  4. Customized Jewelry which includes handcrafted/engraved products manufactured/ordered in line with specific instructions from Customer shall not be eligible for any exchange
  5. Call our customer delight team and you will be given a Return Authorization Code, once you let us know the item you would like to return along with your Order No.
  6. Once your returned item is received our Quality Assurance department will review the returned item.
  7. Any items that show signs of wear or have been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than the company), or damaged cannot be accepted for 30 days exchange.
  8. You will receive complimentary return shipping for all eligible products within the 30 Day Exchange policy.
  9. We will courier you a Disenojewels tamper proof package with the Return Authorization code, your Name and address on the outside return area and a unique serial number pre-printed.
  10. Secure your jewellery with the original packing materials and certificate in the tamper proof package provided by Disenojewels. Note that once the package is sealed, it cannot be opened unless destroyed.
  11. For all exchange within the 30 Day Exchange period product should be unworn, unused & not damaged and accompanied with
    • Original Product Certificate.
    • Original Invoice and
    • Product ID tag, which should not be removed from the product under any circumstances
  12. In case the customer cannot produce the original certificate, the company will send the solitaire/jewelry to the Lab for recertification. The shipping and certification cost shall be borne by the customer.
  13. The exchange amount will be 100% of actual amount paid. In case, any Coupon, Discount or Promo Codes were used during the original purchase, the exchange amount will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the Coupon, Discount or Promo Codes, as applicable.
  14. In case the exchanged value is higher than the value of the old product, the customer shall first pay the difference between the new product chosen and the amount paid towards the old product and only there after shall the company be obliged to return/exchange the product.
  15. In case of a refund on a 30 days exchange, payment of the balance refund amount shall be made by way of an online bank transfer to the customer’s account within 10 days of receipt of product subject to approval and satisfaction of the company.
  16. This feature is not available for International Orders (Orders that will be shipped abroad from India)

 

30 Days Money Back Policy

  • In case of a refund on a 30 days money back policy, payment of the refund amount shall be done by way of an online bank transfer to the customer’s bank account within 10 days of receipt of product. If the mode of payment is through online debit/credit cards/net banking, the refund will be processed by reversal of the previous transaction.
  • This feature is not available for International Orders (Orders that will be shipped abroad from India)

 

Lifetime Exchange Policy:

  • Return any product to the company after 30 days under the lifetime exchange policy and buy any new product of your choice.
  • Solitaire diamonds shall be exchanged at 90% of prevailing market value, subject to a limit of Rs.10,00,000/-
  • Jewelry products made of studded diamonds shall be exchanged at 75% of prevailing market value.
  • Jewelry products made only of gem stones shall be exchanged at 65% of prevailing market value.
  • Plain gold jewelry and gold coins shall be exchanged at the prevailing gold rate.
  • Silver Jewelry products cannot be exchanged.
  • The prevailing market value will be determined by the company.
  • Product should be accompanied with Original Product Certificate and the Invoice.
  • In case the customer cannot produce the original certificate, the company will send the diamond to the Lab for recertification. The shipping and certification cost shall be borne by the customer.
  • In case of a refund on a lifetime exchange, payment of the balance refund amount shall be made by way of an online bank transfer to the customer’s bank account within 10 days of receipt of product.
  • In case the exchanged value is higher than the value of the old product, the customer will first have to pay the difference between the new product chosen and the valuation of the old product only then shall the company be obliged to process the exchange.
  • In case, any Coupon, Discount or Promo Codes were used during the original purchase, the exchange amount will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the Coupon, Discount or Promo Codes, as applicable.
  • The company reserves the right to change the lifetime exchange amount of the product based on the Quality Inspection.
  • Return of handcrafted jewelry will be dealt by the company on a case to case basis.
  • This feature is not available for International Orders (Orders that will be shipped abroad from India)

 

Repairs & Resizing

  • In the event you want to resize your ring, the company will resize the ring free of cost except in certain cases where resizing is not possible.
  • If the resized ring costs more than the existing ring, the incremental cost shall be borne by the customer and shall be paid for first only then shall be processed by the company.
  • If the resized ring costs less than the existing ring, the differential amount shall be refunded to the customer within 10 days from dispatch of the resized product by way of an online bank transfer.
  • If for some reason, your product needs to be repaired, the company shall repair/replace the product for charges to be determined on a case to case basis.
  • Shipping charges under the Repairs & Resizing policy shall be borne by the customer and shall be paid for first by the customer and only then shall the repair and resizing be processed.
  • This feature is not available for International Orders (Orders that will be shipped abroad from India)
